Erica Olsen is the author of Recapture & Other Stories, a collection of short fiction about the once and future West published by Torrey House Press, a Utah-based independent publisher of environmentally oriented books. She has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Montana. Erica has received a Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and residencies at Ucross, the Center for Land Use Interpretation, and Jentel. She has worked as an archivist at Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum in Blanding, Utah, and a museum technician at the Anasazi Heritage Center in Dolores, Colorado, both grant-funded positions supporting the preservation of archaeological collections. She lives in southwestern Colorado.
